Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Itano LLC ("Itano," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with (a) this website and (b) Friday, a personal AI assistant operated by Itano LLC. By using this site or Friday, you agree to the practices described below.
Friday is a single-user application built and used by the operator of Itano LLC. It connects, at your direction, to accounts you authorize — such as Google, Dropbox, and Notion — and takes actions on those accounts on your behalf.
Information we collect through this website
We collect limited information through this website. This may include basic technical data automatically logged by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and time of visit), and any information you voluntarily provide when you contact us by email or other means.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
Information Friday accesses, and why
When you connect an account to Friday, you grant Friday access to specific data through that provider's authorization (OAuth) process. Friday accesses only the data covered by the permissions you approve, and only to provide the features you ask it to perform. The table below describes the data Friday may access and the purpose of each.

Friday accesses this data only when you invoke a feature that requires it. It does not continuously monitor your accounts beyond what is necessary to perform the tasks you direct.
How we use information Friday accesses
We use the data Friday accesses solely to provide the features you invoke, at your direction. We do not:
- sell or rent this data;
- use it for advertising or any form of ad targeting;
- use it to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model; or
- use it for any purpose other than providing the features you request.
Any action that writes to your accounts — sending an email, creating or editing a file, changing a calendar event, or updating a Notion page — happens only after your explicit approval ("confirm before write").
Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure
Friday's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Consistent with those requirements, information received from Google APIs is not:
- used or transferred for serving advertising, including retargeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising;
- used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes;
- sold or transferred to data brokers, information resellers, or other parties; or
- used to develop, train, fine-tune, or improve any generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning model.
Humans do not read your Google data except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) to comply with applicable law, or (d) where the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable requirements.
Service providers and subprocessors
Friday relies on a small number of service providers to function. Each processes your data only to provide its service to us, under its own terms and protections:

Anthropic's API does not use data submitted through it to train its models by default. We do not otherwise share or sell your data.
SMS messaging program
Itano LLC operates an automated messaging service that uses SMS through Twilio to facilitate communications related to scheduling, agentic-assistant notifications, and administrative coordination for advisory, consulting, and personal-productivity purposes.
Opt-in. Mobile phone numbers are collected only when you knowingly provide them and affirmatively consent to receive SMS communications from us. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, service, or engagement.
Types of messages. Messages may include scheduling confirmations, reminders, notifications from automated assistants operated on your behalf or on behalf of an engaged client, and related administrative communications.
Frequency. Message frequency varies based on activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out and help. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. Reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, you will no longer receive messages from the program; we may send a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
No sharing of mobile data. No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Carriers and service providers. SMS messages are delivered through Twilio and U.S. mobile carriers acting as our service providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Storage and security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including:
- encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest;
- storage of access tokens on the server side only, never exposed to the browser;
- row-level security and least-privilege access controls;
- single-user gating, so only the authorized operator can access Friday; and
- confirm-before-write controls on any action that modifies your connected accounts.
No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain website information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
Data accessed by Friday is retained while you continue to use Friday. You can revoke Friday's access to a connected account at any time:
- Google: Google Account → Security → Third-party access (or Permissions)
- Dropbox: Settings → Connected apps
- Notion: Settings → Connections
You may also request full deletion at any time by emailing josh@itano.co. On request, we will delete stored content and the associated access tokens.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use a minimal set of cookies or similar technologies for essential site functionality and, where enabled, basic anonymous analytics. Friday uses an authentication session cookie only. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function as intended if you do.
Sharing of information
We do not share personal information with third parties except: (i) with the service providers and subprocessors described above, acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations; (ii) when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; or (iii) to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To exercise any such rights, contact us at the email address below.
International users, changes, and contact
Friday and this website are operated from the United States, and information is processed there. By using Friday or this site, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision. If we change the way Friday uses data accessed from a connected account, we will update this policy and, where required, prompt for renewed consent before the new use takes effect. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
